Do you have previous Fleet Dilapidation knowledge?
If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client who are looking for a Project Manager to join their team located in Norwich to oversee a Fleet Dilapidation project on a 3-month contract basis paying £338.85 per day (PAYE) or £450 (umbrella/LTD rate).
Key Accountabilities:
- Management of the Dilapidations programme for the train fleet at Norwich Crown Point Depot and Clacton Light Maintenance Depot.
- Plan for the maximum number of defects to be closed by early October, without affecting daily services
- Monitoring progress and management of the Stadler dilapidations work and reporting back to senior management.
- Carrying out quality inspections of pre work and completed works, to ensure glass case is complied with (but not over and above). This is expected to be at 08:00am each Monday to allow for maximum time for programme works.
- Inspection of rolling stock, in particular paint (required)
- Project Management experience within rail, in particular fleet projects (required)
- Previous dilapidation work within other rail providers (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to influence all internal stakeholders and external bodies
