10 years experience in rail infrastructure, systems and CIS

ESSENTIAL:
- A Building, Engineering, Construction or Project Management degree.
- Member of Engineers Ireland or other relevant professional body.
- Experience in project engineering experience in Railways or relevant regulated engineering environment.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant general management and project management experience.
- Demonstrable ability to produce and manage budgets and schedules of similar size projects.
DESIRABLE:
- Experience in the management of complex, multi-disciplinary projects preferably in a railway environment.
- Knowledge of Railway Systems, Customer Information Systems.
- Knowledge of railway infrastructure and railway operations.
- Demonstrable understanding of good Project Management Procedures
- Experience in managing design consultants, contractors
- Knowledge of contract management and the Public Works Contracts.
- Knowledge of the Construction Regulations.
- Experience in the implementation of Safety Management Systems.
