Do you have previous engineering experience?
If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client who are looking for a Facilties Manager to join their team located in Cambridge or Colchester on a 3-month contract basis paying £230 per day (PAYE) or £305.44 (umbrella rate).
Key Accountabilities:
- Help manage the day-to-day activity of the facilities management helpdesk and term maintenance contractors.
- Management of Property contracts, ensuring activity is performed to prescribed technical, environmental and safety standards and that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.
- To adhere to the ISO 55001 Asset Management System & Annual Accreditations Standard.
- Assist in maintaining the mechanical and electrical and the fabric elements of the estate in compliance with corporate, statutory, health and safety policies, regulations, and procedures, through rigorous contract management.
- Identifying Faults and Auditing stations when on site
- Ensure facilities contract administration is effectively delivered within the company’s asset management reporting system.
- Being able to project manage small projects from start to finish while keeping stakeholders updated
- Support the Asset Management team in the analysis of trends and optimisation of asset maintenance policy.
What we require from you?
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of contract management.
- Detailed knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM)
- A degree or equivalent
- Understanding of rail industry issues in relation to construction
- Membership in a property professional body (BIFM or RICS) or working towards.
- Basic knowledge of buildings management
- Full Driving Licence
- Holder of NEBOSH health and safety qualification (preferred)
