TXM Recruit launched Project Pit Stop, a recruitment initiative to help re-deploy a number of highly skilled engineering contractors within the motorsport sector who have been impacted by the delay of the F1 season due to COVID-19.
Many of these individuals recently took part in ‘Project Pit Lane’, combining their knowledge and experience to build respirator devices for the NHS, as the Government urgently appealed for Engineers across the UK to help protect the lives of those impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
As the F1 season has been delayed and Project Pit Lane has come to a successful end, many skilled Engineers within the motorsport sector now find themselves out of work. TXM Recruit launched Project Pit Stop to help showcase the skillset of these Engineering candidates within the F1 industry which can be utilised across other sectors requiring the same skillset.
James Wall, Managing Director at TXM Recruit comments: “We want this to be a Pitstop not a full stop for our Contractors, hence the reason that we have launched this initiative. Our engineers who are now available are some of the best skilled engineers around. They are part of the six times World Championship F1 Mercedes team meaning they are at the top of their game. Their skillsets can be utilised across multiple industries from Aerospace to FMCG to General Manufacturing. If you have engineering vacancies and want world class engineers, please visit our Project Pit Stop to review the available engineers and contact us directly to hire the engineer you need.”
Project Pit Stop provided clients with Candidate profiles, showcasing some of the many amazing Engineers TXM Recruit is proud to represent.
Project Pit Stop has now come to an end however if you'd like to find out more about the precision engineers we represent, contact us here today!
