TXM Recruit are delighted to be supporting the All-Party Parliamentary Group’s Women in Transport Summer Reception.
The event has been specially designed to celebrate women in the sector while considering how the next generation can be inspired during the ‘Year of Engineering’.
Nusrat Ghani MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Transport, will be the keynote speaker.
The Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Women in Transport, Ruth Cadbury MP, will host the reception - which takes place next week.
Women in Transport has partnered with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to hold this event as part of a programme to mark International Women in Engineering Day #INWED2018.
WES is running a global campaign to encourage participants to show the world how they are #raisingthebar in pursuit of more diversity in engineering.
Both WES and Women in Transport are championing the Year of Engineering 2018, a national campaign aimed at shaking up people’s ideas about engineering and inspiring the next generation of innovators, inventors and problem solvers by showing them what engineers actually do.
Supported by TXM Recruit and some of our major partners, the event will bring together leaders from across the transport sector.
