TXM Recruit and Kettering RFC are together looking to forge even more success following a remarkable partnership, spanning several years.

The support of TXM Recruit has seen Kettering’s junior sides claim various trophies as the children have progressed through to the adult ranks.

Silverware including the East Midlands Cup, the Kettering 7s and Syston 7s titles have been claimed.

TXM Group Director Gavin Hanrahan has spoken of the success.

He said: “It has been an incredible journey, which has produced an incredible group of people.

“It has been nine years in the making, from tag rugby to the full 15-man game.

“Kettering have teams with rugby’s core values at the heart of them - embedded into their DNA. There is a spirit and ambition to be the best they can be.

“Over the years we have seen some incredible successes and, at individual level, we have seen players represent Saints Academy, East Midlands Academy and the UR7s Academy.

“Throughout all of this the players have remained grounded, humble and respectful - in victory and defeat. They understand that hard work pays off and push each other to be the best they can be.

“More pleasing than the success on the field is to see the lifelong friendships that have formed between the lads and between parents and coaches.

“This is one of the greatest aspects of involvement in rugby, the community and friendship it brings.

“While the players leave the junior section behind with fondness, we start down a new path to colts and senior rugby.

“We are looking forward to further integration with the colts and also with next season’s under-16s, working with their players and coaches to share ideas and experiences and help their players with the transition to senior rugby.”

A Kettering coach added: “We’re not just a team, we’re a family, a KRFC family… if you cut us, we bleed blue.”
