TXM Recruit went above and beyond as they competed in the Recruitment Rowathon on Friday 2nd March.
The team of Xtra Milers went head-to-head with six other teams from across the recruitment industry, as they all raised money for OPERA Global Youth Foundation in partnership with the Atlantic Avengers, by rowing non-stop for eight hours.
Team TXM Recruit rowed over 97,000 metres and also included an Ironman challenge in their day - swim, bike and run - as they went The Xtra Mile to raise money for charity.
During the day, the teams rowed a combined 609,892m and raised thousands of pounds for OPERA and Atlantic Avengers.
OPERA help young people, 16-24, find, gain and stay in work through their practical and financial support. They work alongside recruitment companies and industry suppliers to develop solutions to tackle youth unemployment. Whilst the Atlantic Avengers will be tackling the high seas when they take to the waters for OPERA in The Columbus Challenge - rowing across the Atlantic ocean from Cadiz to Antigua. They are aiming to raise half a million for their challenge.
