TXM Recruit News, Community Support

“We work hard and play hard but as a team we want to give something back to people who are not as fortunate as ourselves.” Claims TXM Recruit Managing Director Andrew Midgley.

Midgley has served a total of eight years so far with TXM Recruit, working his way to the position of Managing Director.

He and fellow colleagues Scott Cross and Ben Grant recently participated in the Harlech Triathlon, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Speaking on the event, Midgley shared: “It was good effort from us. We did suffer from a bit of exhaustion prior to the event as it is a long way to Harlech.

“We experienced a four-hour drive on Saturday before a 6am start on the Sunday.

“However, we were all satisfied with our individual performances but we will be aiming to go better in June, where we have our triathlon in Sussex before finishing off with the big one the Outlaw Half over in Norfolk in July”

One who likes to test the vigour of his staff, Midgley is all for overcoming challenges and helping others which he believes separates TXM Recruit from rival agencies.

Looking ahead to the Outlaw Half in July which is half an Iron Man in distance to support MacMillan, he said: “I think that it is important that our staff are not only good recruiters but also good citizens and for us to give them the opportunity and support to take part in these events.

“Furthermore, I think that it’s great for our staff to be able to challenge themselves by participating in these races.

“The challenge, which we are building up to in July, will be a 1.2 miles swim, 56-mile bike ride and a half-marathon.

“There’s training and dedication that we need to put in to be able to compete over that distance between us which will be a fantastic achievement.

“The recruitment market is extremely competitive we want to differentiate ourselves by Going The Xtra Mile in everything we do”
