TXM Recruit Inclusive Recruitment, Recruitment, News...
Following an exciting 2017 where TXM Recruit were heavily involved in Women in Transport events, 2018 is set to be even busier and more exciting.
TXM Recruit engaged with a number of organisations in 2017, including Women in Rail, WISE, Design By Group and TFL. Alongside these groups, TXM Recruit worked with Women in Transport where they sponsored the Women in Transport mentoring programme.
The mentoring programme is a programme developed to support and encourage women to manage their own learning in order to maximise their potential, develop their skills and improve their performance and become the person they want to be.
“TXM has proactively launched a campaign to engage and encourage more females and people from BAME backgrounds into engineering/rail and transportation,” said TXM Group Director Gary Lincoln.
“We are supporting Women in Rail in their campaign to encourage more females into the rail industry; by support we actively post a positive message that the rail industry is a sector with endless possibilities for all, whatever gender.
“As well as the promotion of females into industry TXM has also signed up and attended the Mayors Fund for London “Transporting Transport Pledge” as an Implementer. This means we will share our vision and agree to support the three core principles, as well implementing one or more recommendations for success.”
