We are a global, industry leading FMCG manufacturer and are looking to recruit multiple new Mechanical Engineers / Workshop Engineers / Mechanical Maintenance / Mechanical Fitters to join our high-speed production facility in Milton Keynes.
Working as part of a dedicated, expert engineering department you will be responsible for ensuring all production lines remain operational and work at full capacity. To do this, you will strip down parts including, gear boxes, pumps, conveyors and inkers. You will repair or modify them accordingly and reassemble them before reinstalling them into the lines.
The role will be a mix of working in the workshop and on the shop floor when required.
You will need experience working with high speed production / manufacturing equipment that is NOT highly automated. You will be mechanically biased and be competent working to high tolerances.
The career prospects are excellent and you will be given the opportunity to develop your career by moving into more senior position. You will be rewarded with a salary of circa £45,000 although this can be progressed after 6 and 12 months' subject to performance.
You will work Monday to Friday days as standard although when a need arises you may be required to work outside of these standard hours.
You must have relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering although having electrical experience as well would be advantageous.
