The Role:
- Carry out high-quality welding work on a variety of rolling stock fleets.
- Perform welding in multiple positions including overhead, vertical, and horizontal.
- Work from technical drawings, specifications, and instructions to ensure precision and quality.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times, following health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and production targets.
- Full training will be provided to adapt your welding skills to the rolling stock sector.
- A qualified Welder holding a Level 2 (or equivalent) Welding qualification.
- Experience in welding across multiple positions (overhead, vertical, horizontal).
- A strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Previous experience in the rail or rolling stock industry is not essential – full industry training will be provided.
- A reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in their work.
