Purpose of The Job:
Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on Central Trains' rolling stock, ensuring optimal support for train services.
Principle Accountabilities:
-Attend to defects on traction and rolling stock, diagnose, and repair.
-Perform planned preventative maintenance to specifications.
-Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
-Undertake Designated Person duties for fueling points, ensuring a safe system of work.
-Sign off work and compile a record of completed tasks.
-Control stocks of stores materials at the station.
-Conduct riding of units on test runs.
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Training:
-Experience in maintaining Central Trains rolling stock.
-Knowledge of reporting lines for maintenance/repair vehicles.
-Safety-critical assessment.
-Basic communication skills.
-Time-served tradesman in electrical and mechanical engineering.
Salary- £34379.60
Shift- Average of 37 Hours
