TXM Recruit are currently supporting an FMCG manufacturing business who supply into major retailers as they are looking for a Technical Manager to support across the companies 2 production sites in Suffolk.
You will be the customer facing contact for major retailers, B2B and wholesalers whilst supporting the Head of Technical with quality and technical activities on a daily.
Technical Manager Responsibilities:
- Conducting product reviews to relevant food standards – BRC, HACCP & GMP.
- Ensuring all technical standards are implemented across site.
- Management of customer visits, audits and trials.
- Visiting supplier facilities/the supply chain to carry out inspections.
- Internal auditing.
- Maintaining quality manuals, customer specifications, work practises and legislation on site.
- Reporting into the Head of Technical on all Quality and Technical activities and H&S.
- Experienced working within a food production environment.
- Led internal and external audits.
- Reviewed and implemented quality/technical processes on site.
- Worked with and managed relationships with customers.
- Managed technical/quality teams.
- HACCP Level 3.
- Degree or equivalent in food science/microbiology/science.
- Internal/External audit trained.
