Are you an experienced Co-Ordinator then this may be the perfect opportunity for you? Our client is currently expanding their Depot in Leeds and are recruiting for a Team Coordinator to join the team and help lead and Co-Ordinate the works this busy freight depot.

 

As a Team Co-Ordinator, you will be working on a day shift Monday to Friday on a competitive salary.

 

Responsibilities of a Team Co-Ordinator whilst working in the role will include:

· Be a Safety leader - ensure you, the team, contractors, and others, always work safely. Ensuring all safety incidents and accidents are closed out to route cause on the provided platform.

· Adhering to health & safety and local safety policy requirements, and other safety and technical standards.

· Ensuring Freightliner company engineering standards and procedures are understood, applied, and followed.

· Maintaining, servicing, and repairing wagons in accordance with approved maintenance plans

· Co Ordinate the team to help implement the daily work plan assigned by the Depot Supervisor

· Coach and assist the wagon fitters in their technical development when required

· Ensuring all relevant records for examinations and repairs is correctly completed to company standards through our electronic Asset Management System

 

Requirements for a Team Co-Ordinator

· Desirable at least 2 years broadly based experience of Traction & Rolling Stock

· Ideally, but not essential, 2 years’ experience in supervising or man-management and the ability to make sound engineering decisions

· Engineering qualification, preferably to HNC standard in electrical or mechanical engineering

· Personal Track Safety Certificate / Track Awareness

· Supervisory Training will be provided.
