Stores Controller with ref. BH-35382

We have a new opportunity working as a permanent Stores Controller for one of key rolling stock clients based in Doncaster.

As a Stores Controller you will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 07:30 to 18:40, paying up to £45000 depending on experience.

As a Stores Controller you will receive goods inwards on SAP, accurately sorting and storing. Checking the goods against purchase order or invoice and entering the data on SAP as well as maintaining the SAP bin locations. Booking parts to the production job or work job in SAP as soon as the stock is picked. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the stores area including removal of waste. To undertake stock audits and perform any other tasks needed in the maintenance and operation of the stores area.

As a Stores controller you will carry out such task as:

Organise self and workspace to ensure efficient work operations.
Working with manager and team to improve processes aimed at more timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Participate in process checks / audits in line with Company quality management standards and processes.
Receive returns of used cores to correct departments within the company.
Ensure accurate and efficient operation of Goods Inwards and Good Outwards.
Ensure high quality packaging and packing of deliveries.

Stores Controller requirements are:

Previous experience of a store’s operation.
Forklift operator certification or willing to achieve this within 6 months.
Manual Handling Certificate or willing to achieve this within 3 months.
Must be physically fit and able to lift to 50lbs.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
Driver’s License required to drive company vehicles for inventory transfer.
