TXM are working with a new and growing client who are seeking a Shotblaster to join the team, working on a variety of large-scale projects, including HGVs, trailers, tankers, aerospace vehicles, silos, and structural components. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company that values quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and shotblasting surfaces of HGVs, trailers, tankers, aerospace components, silos, and steel structures to industry standards.
  • Operating and maintaining blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Conducting pre-blasting surface inspections and masking components as necessary.
  • Working with different blasting media and adjusting techniques based on material types.
  • Following strict health and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements.
  • Assisting with general workshop duties as required.
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience as a Shotblaster (preferably on large vehicles or industrial structures).
✅ Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques, equipment, and media types.
✅ Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety guidelines.
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
✅ Awareness of health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:
  • Experience in priming and painting post-shotblasting is an advantage.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience (training can be provided).
