Are you an experienced service manager with a knack for sales and service activities in the commercial vehicle sector?
We're currently seeking a dedicated individual to lead our clients retail technician programme and not only managing but growing a team of field technicians throughout the UK.
Competitive salary of £50,000 plus a 10% annual bonus.
Company car
Hybrid work-from-home position.
If you have
Proven experience in sales and service management, in the bus or commercial vehicle industry, such as Public Service Vehicles (PSVs), Coaches, Busses, or Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)
Good mechanical knowledge.
The ability to travel throughout the UK.
In this key role you’ll:
Manage and develop the Retail Technician support team, ensuring effective support to PSV Bus & Coach operators as well as third-party businesses.
Deliver high-quality technical support to our customer base, handling technical and parts issues through the field team.
Promote the services of Retail Technicians to bus users and transport providers in need of professional technical and mechanical support.
Foster customer relationships to ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines and costs.
Meet quality targets, efficiency goals, and revenue/cost objectives.
Contribute to the ongoing development of technical manuals, service documentation, etc.
Analyse system data and provide feedback to the technical team.
Undertake mechanical work with the field team for onsite assistance when needed.
