The role:

  • Responsible for maximising the Service Department’s profitability in line with the company’s objectives.
  • Responsible for the day to day line management and mentoring of the Depot Service Department staff.
  • Responsible for the appropriate processes to ensure accurate invoicing to both external and internal customers.
  • Responsible for the organisation of the depot workshop and distribution of jobs to maximise efficiency and profitability.
  • To deliver a first class customer experience by having detailed product knowledge, following an effective servicing process and displaying excellent customer relationship skills.
Skills/Qualifications -

  • Able to cover the core hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Friday along with the ability to work extended hours during peak seasonal periods, along with providing cover at other depots as and when required.
  • Competent using standard Microsoft packages to intermediate level.
  • Proficient user of Ibcos GOLD system is an advantage.
  • Ability to produce, analyse and interpret internal and external reports and data.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to deal with customer enquiries by telephone, face to face and email etc.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Exhibit a positive can do attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of, and effectively lead, a team.
  • Able to take effective decisive action.
  • Upto date knowledge of all franchise products/parts.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and the Agricultural Industry along with familiarity with competitor products and activities.
  • Good understanding of Marketing and Sales principles.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
