TXM Recruit are partnering with a large international FMCG business on their search for a Senior Quality Manager to join a key site within the European Division that accounts for high levels of production and revenue. The site itself is soon to benefit from significant investments into equipment that will support quality assurance and compliance.
The site works to world-class manufacturing principles, GMP, BRC & ISO quality standards and audits.
You will be managing an experience management team of 3 Managers, who are subject matter experts for each of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety respectively.
On a personal level your bias will lie within the managemnet of Quality Assurance, Food Safety and HAACP.
As Senior Quality Manager the immediate projects and targets will be to:
- Upgrade the quality processes & culture within the plant
- Upskilling, training and personal development of the quality department & wider business
- Identifying improvements with microbiology and water treatment practices
- Improve the quality management systems and SOPs
- Improve the internal audit and supplier plans
- Improved data analysis, trending and reporting- greater visibility and proactive QA measures
Previous experience:
- Previous management experience of a Quality Assurance department
- Experienced within FMCG, packaging or high-volume production.
- Highly knowledgeable across ISO 9001 & BRC Food Safety & ISO 22000 extremely desirable.
- HACCP
Graduate or equivalent levels form a technical background- engineering, food technology, chemistry or microbiology.
Salary & Benefits:
£65,000-£70,000
