An exciting opportunity to join a leading worldwide business in the automated machinery sector. The company are currently searching for a Senior Project Manager to join their successful team, following on from their expansion within Benelux.
This role will require an experienced Project Manager to lead projects for commissioning and creation of new automated distribution centres within Benelux. You will play a key role in the development of the facility, and it’s start up process.
This role will require between 40% - 70% of travel, of which this will be compensated with a company vehicle.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for the onsite customer, internal project team and local sales & customer service departments.
- Drawing up, monitoring, and adjusting project documents.
- Registering project progress and compiling & presenting the reports to the onsite customer and head office.
- Act as project coordinator whilst on location and report back to head office.
- Monitor project scope and identify & assess claim, risk management and escalation management along with following up on the findings.
- Make proposal improvements where necessary.
- Close collaboration with sales, engineering, and customer service teams for seamless handling during phase progression.
- Monitoring of all tasks and holding stakeholders and external companies accountable for their responsibilities during the project.
Experience & Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, ideally 5+ years of experience.
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level.
- Hold a Project Management certificate.
- Ability to speak and write in both English & Dutch, German is also advantageous.
- Previous experience working within a fast paced, high-volume environment such as FMCG, automated warehousing, food production, packaging or pharmaceuticals would prove a good transfer.
- Work authorization for the Netherlands.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence.
