TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award winning organisation. They are expanding and are looking for Senior Estates Manager to join their team located in Birmingham.

As the Senior Estates Manager for maintenance contract, you will be responsible for running and organising a team of Assistant Estate Managers, the post holder will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the maintenance services in accordance with the requirements of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Concession Agreement .

You will be required to review and develop the quality of service at an operational level and Control expenditure as delegated by the Account Director.

You will prepare estimates for new works & lead on the operational support required for projects. Also act as Authorised Person where directed and appointed. Previous experience within the healthcare industry is required and experience looking after a budget.

The person that we will be looking for will have a positive attitude and work ethic, be flexible, get the job done while maintaining integrity and protecting the companies best interests. In addition to the above the ideal candidate will be highly knowledgeable and experienced within Mechnical or Electrical FM.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual whom has completed a full electrical apprenticeship to Level 3. Although not essential, candidates that have put themselves through higher & further electrical learning would be looked on favourably.

Minimum qualifications or required Experience for the role are as follows:
  • Must have Electrical or Mechanical experience within a PFI Healthcare enviroment 
  • Manage and co-ordinate direct employed labour and sub-contractors in reacting to breakdowns and implementing the Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelinesExperience of risk management and health and safety
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines                                                    
  • ONC or BTEC NVQ Level 3 in relevant discipline                                        
  • Authorised Person qualified to Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) Standard                                                      
  •  HNC in relevant engineering discipline                                                                                 
  •  Qualified to 17th Edition IEE Regulations                                                                  
  •  Qualified as Authorized / Competent Person within NHS guidance (HTM) related discipline for Ventilation, Med Gas, HV/LV or Water
