We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Construction Manager with a background in rail projects to lead on a number of projects over a 12 month assignment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a number of depot enhancement projects working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and Directors to drive the projects forward.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in leading rail construction projects, ideally within depot environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple disciplines.
- Commercial and financial acumen related to the successful delivery of projects.
- Relevant qualifications in a construction field.
- Rail related qualifications and licenses.
- MCIOB (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of rail and construction standards.
- Work closely with the project and construction teams across multiple projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
- Report on progress of projects to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervising projects to ensure they are delivered safely and to the expected standards.
- Work closely with commercial team to monitor contractual performance and mitigate risks.
- Ensure robust plans are in place for health, safety, quality and environment.
- Regular communication with the PMO and senior stakeholders.
