Receptionist Position.
TXM Recruit is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join a Rail company that specialise in Engineering. If you’re eager to work with industry leaders, read on and consider applying!

Pay: £14 PAYE
Location: Ludgate London

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Meet and Greet Visitors: Be the friendly face that welcomes guests to our premises.
  2. Answer Phones and Emails: Efficiently handle incoming calls and electronic correspondence.
  3. Maintain Meeting Rooms: Keep meeting rooms organized and ready for use.
  4. Tidy Reception Area: Ensure the reception area is clean and presentable.
  5. Support Site Security Measures: Assist in maintaining a secure environment.
  6. Health & Safety Management: Contribute to safety protocols and security checks.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Handle filing, minute-taking, and other administrative duties.
  8. Covid-19 Cleaning Regime: Help maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
  9. Home Working Administration: Support remote work arrangements.
  10. Site Pre-Booking Process: Assist in managing site bookings.
  11. Attendance Reporting: Collate and report daily attendance figures.
  12. Cloudbooking Software: Support the use of Cloudbooking for meeting room and desk reservations.
  13. Service Now CAFM System: Input reactive tasks and incidents.
  14. Courier Services: Book couriers and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
  15. Post Delivery: Distribute mail to staff members.
  16. Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Facilities Management (FM) team as needed.
  17. Sub-Contractor Coordination: Organize sub-contractor visits and vendor call-outs.
  18. Emergency Preparedness: Play a role in site evacuations and fire drills.
Essential Requirements:
  • Professional Approach: Represent the company with professionalism.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Stay composed during busy periods.
  • Self-Motivated and Proactive: Take initiative to address tasks.
  • Reception/Facilities Experience: Previous relevant work experience.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to visitors.
  • Office Health & Safety Awareness: Comply with safety guidelines.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word: Familiarity with office software.
  • Knowledge of CAFM Systems: Previous exposure to Computer-Aided Facility Management systems.
  • Security Systems Experience: Understanding of security protocols and processes.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, (8:30am start doing 8 hour days)
