Job Title: Quantity Surveyor  
Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £55,000 + £6,500 Car Allowance
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a team in Bristol within the Social Housing Sector. This role offers a great opportunity to work on diverse projects including response and planned maintenance as well as ad hoc projects across Social Housing and Commercial Sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Blend of estimating and commercial management of live contracts
  • Communicate promptly with clients on pricing and charging matters.
  • Handle the commercial aspects of reactive and planned maintenance projects.
  • Collaborating with clients and subcontractors.
  • Assist in all pro and post contract QS duties, including pricing of works, production of tender documentation/schedules of works, and any other contract documentation required.
  • Liaise with the client, contract admin and appointed subcontractors, accurately valuing work in accordance with contract requirements, procedures and certify payments.
To be successful in this position you will need to have the below knowledge/experience:
  • Essential experience in coding/invoicing using SORs and the ability to build valuations using such methods.
  • Social Housing background of at least 3 years.
  • Qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
