Job Title: Quality Engineer
Salary: £42,000 
Location: Tewkesbury, UK (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent 

A leading organisation in the aerospace sector is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support the integration of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) across key production programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to quality excellence and continuous improvement within a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Role Overview
This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality standards across new and existing products. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating APQP and PPAP implementation, supporting new product introduction, and working cross-functionally to drive quality performance across the production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support integration of APQP processes into product development and production systems.

  • Coordinate PPAP documentation and submission processes.

  • Investigate non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Contribute to risk analysis, including PFMEA and control plans.

  • Participate in customer meetings and regulatory audits.

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier quality teams.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with APQP and PPAP.

  • Working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.

  • Proficiency in PFMEA, process control, and MSA.

  • Background in supporting new product introduction (NPI).
