We are looking for experienced and ambitious PSV Engineers to join one of key transportation clients in a permanent role based in Thurmaston.

As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both our client and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

Their Engineering Team is a core function of their business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition.

What a PSV Engineer Role can offer you:
•    Basic hourly rate of £20 per hour, working Monday to Friday, early and late shifts.

The role will involve:
•    Fixed periodic servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs to DVSA standards.
•    Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
•    MOT preparation planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.
•    Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to our clients Standards (Higher than DVSA)
•    Various working shift patterns available 

Requirements:
•    Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair
•    Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent international qualification (will require evidence of qualification)
•    If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV’s
•    A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
•    Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
