Project Manager – Risk

You will be responsible for leading the risk and opportunities process within the Rail project team and working within the HS2 delivery team to ensure that Joint Venture risk are proactively managed. The Project Risk & Opportunities will be responsible for successfully coordinating the identification of risk and the implementation of risk mitigation actions during the life of the project.

Pay: £719.50
Location: On site in London 3 days and working froom home 2 days a week. 

Details:
Use knowledge and experience gained on large programs of work to ensure effective identification and management of all risks (aligned to achievement of objectives) across all work breakdown structure packages within the delivery project team.
Apply a robust and methodical approach to risk management, demonstrating reduction in project exposure to risk through active mitigation of threat and maximization of opportunities.
Proactively manage the risk and opportunities registers and ensure all Risks and opportunities are appropriately captured, controlled and communicated to all project stakeholders as required and appropriate.
Oversee the process to ensure that risks are effectively identified, assessed and quantified, and that risk reduction measures are fully implemented.
Ensure all opportunities are effectively identified, assessed and quantified, and support the Project Managers and Finance Controllers to ensure that margin enhancement measures are implemented accordingly.
Manage with project finance controller the overall project contingency provision ensuring that it is maintained within the financial requirements.
Conduct quantified risk analysis and models for cost and schedule to accurately represent the complexities and status of cost, schedule and project risks.
Ensure all risk management gateway reviews are embedded in Project Schedules.
Run risk and opportunities management reporting sessions and produce regular Risk and Opportunities status reports for Project teams, Senior Management and external stakeholders as required through the portfolio governance schedule.
