The Opportunity
A leading precision engineering business is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturing environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of new products from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage NPI projects, including planning, coordination, and tracking of timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capacity planning and process optimisation
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery schedules
  • Implement and champion continuous improvement within the NPI function
  • Monitor and report on project status, KPIs, and NPI performance metrics
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree-qualified in a STEM subject, ideally with a focus on mechanical or manufacturing engineering
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and tools (e.g., Gantt charts, MS Project)
  • Confident communicator with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience in new product introduction or a similar manufacturing project role
