Location: Littlehampton
Reporting to: Supervisor
This would be an 8 week contract with the potential opportunity of going perm after the initial 8 week period
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting and preparing rubber blanks for moulding.
- Operating heated hydraulic power presses.
- Identifying and reporting scrap, escalating issues to the Supervisor.
- Adhering to strict process specifications and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Adhering to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies.
- Multiskilling – willingness to train and work in various production areas.
- Supporting business needs by undertaking tasks as requested by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read specifications and work with high accuracy.
- Dexterity and attention to detail.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of rubber and associated manufacturing processes (desirable).
- Previous experience operating a moulding press (desirable).
Shift: Mon – Thu, 2 days 2 nights, Days(7:00-17:30), Nights (17:30 – 06:00)
Rates: Days - £12.00, Nights - £16.00
