TXM Recruit have a number of exciting contract opportunities available for Production Engineers based in Milton Keynes for an expanding Rail SME Client.

The production engineer role is working on AC units, where you will be required to:
  • Perform brazing (training is provided for this)
  • Removing and fitting fans (cleaning them and quality checking)
  • Overhauling electrical boards (training is provided for this)
  • Pressure Testing units (training is provided for this)
Our client are looking for some who owns their own toolkit, containing ratchet sockets, spanners, allen keys, screwdrivers, cutters and pliers. This is essential for any applicant.
Steel toe cap boots are also a requirement

If you are looking to get into engineering, or perhaps enjoy using tools and fixing things in your spare time, this may be a great oppurtunity for you. Training is supplied for the more technical aspects of the role which allows for non-skilled applicants or enthusiasts.

Working days are Monday - Thursday, Friday is a non work day but can be worked for overtime.
7am-5pm Monday - Wednesday and 7am-4.30pm on Thursday. 37.5 hours a week.

This role is contract and is open for 7 months, ending on the 15th December 2022.
