As a Production Assistant you will be working 0600-1430 Monday to Thursday, 0600-1300 Friday on a salary of £25300.
The Production Assistant must be able to demonstrate a commitment to safety and an understanding of safe working practices, compliance to company standards and safe working procedures are followed. The applicant will be a motivated self-starter and a fully versatile team member. Progression opportunities to become a wagon fitter exist for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of a Production Assistant whilst working in the role will include:
- Adhere to health & safety and local safety policy requirements, and other safety standards.
- Assist the Depot Supervisor in all facility improvements.
- Provide stores assistant duties to the Depot Team Leader.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- General site maintenance and cleaning duties
- Forklift truck duties.
- Road Delivery & Collections to suppliers
Requirements for a Production Assistant
- Commitment to safe working practices
- A general maintenance backgrounds.
- Experience with basic hand tools!
- Knowledge of COSHH including all cleaning products will be beneficial.
- Vehicle Driving Licence
