We have some exciting new opportunities working as a Pipe Fitter for one of our key rolling stock clients based in Stoke on Trent

As a Pipe Fitter you will be carrying out the below tasks:

  • Braze, silver solder, and use GHD brass fittings
  • fabrication of pipework and making repairs to existing copper pipework.
  • Conversant with pipe thread types, BSP , BSPt , NPT etc
  • Fabricate pipe runs with steel threaded fittings and thread steel pipes
You will be on a rate of £20 per hour and £22 per hour for weekends if required. Standard working week is 50 hours and will be Monday - Friday days only. This is a 10 week contract which could be extended further. 

Please note this role falls OUTSIDE IR35

You will need to have your own hand tools, benders, threaders for this position.

Our client is looking for a pipefitter with the below experience:

  • Making soldered copper pipe connections.
  • Time-served in industrial pipefitting is desired.
  • The ability to weld steel pipes
