Job Title: Ops Team Member/Shunter
Location: Nottinghamshire Depot
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shift: Permanent Nights (21:45-06:00) - 39 hours average
Pay: £10.90 per hour (PAYE), once permanent, the salary is £22,109.13. Once within the role for 6 months, salary increases to £27,636.41 (20% shift allowance)


Key Responsibilities:
As an Ops Team Member/Shunter, your responsibilities will include:
  • Pulling Points: Safely and efficiently pull points to facilitate the movement of vehicles within the depot.
  • Operating Movements: Operate vehicles in and out of the depot with a focus on safety and precision.
  • Organisation of Movements: Coordinate and organize movements within the depot to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in shunting or operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to work permanent night shifts (21:45-06:00) on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a positive and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work primarily on nights.
