Continuous Improvement Manager - Service Engineering
£65,000-80,000 plus benefits
We have a superb opportunity to join a renowned FMCG brand who sit as the UK Market leader within their product space, with over £250 million revenues last year and 70% market share already, the business is now looking to move into their next phase of UK and international growth.
It is a time of huge investment and focus on operational improvements to facilitate the business growth and they are looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence Management professional to drive improved processes and standards across the UK.
This role will provide a Continuous Improvement /Operational Excellence professional with huge scope and license to make a big positive impact within an already hugely successful business.
You will have an exciting remit to improve multiple areas of the business across: helpline, brand standards, planning, deployment, installations, field services, supply chain and third-party logistics / 3PL.
As the Operational Excellence Lead you will be focused on improving operational productivity, efficiencies and the company’s operational performance (EBITDA) in particular parts availability through new SOPs, KPI management, process enhancements, automation and auditing.
You will be an astute communicator and influencer to build relationships and create buy in across multiple departments, customers and suppliers to bring everyone together in delivering your improvements.
This Operational Excellence Manager will be as much as about developing the people (culture and awareness) as well as the SOPs and processes.
Experience and Education required
- People Management- you will have 3 direct reports and circa 60 indirect reports
- Stakeholder Management – cross departmental with internal and external relationships
- Process improvement- familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma
- P + L / Profit and Loss budgets- there will be a goal of £500,000 savings in overheads
- You will ideally have previously worked within the FMCG markets or will have previously worked in a field service 'engineering' environment.
Salaries and benefits:
£65,000-80,000 plus a generous benefits package, and flexible working.
You will be required to be present in the High Wycombe offices 3 times a week with flexibility to manage the rest of your time around being in the field or working from home.
