TXM are working exclusively on behalf of Bombardier Transportation to recruit several Vehicle Engineers to work on high speed rail concepts at their site in Henningsdorf, the suitable candidate would come from a reliability / systems / safety / maintainability background in either the Aerospace or Rail sector. 

Your tasks 

• Deliver the Operability module scope for product / projects to the agreed QTC
• Elicit, verify, derived and allocate a set of requirements (Legislation / Project / Product) regarding operation, infrastructure and maintenance in line with the RM process
• Manage the concept deltas (gap analysis) and the agreed changes regarding operability based on Product Family Concept Baseline
• Manage the design trade-offs, conflicts, risks and opportunities associated with operability against product/project deltas
• Setup, plan, report, deliver ROS Operability module work packages, including of Best Cost Targets
• Maintain product family variants and support product standardization strategy regarding operability building blocks

Qualifications 

• Engineering Degree or equivalent, Chartered Engineer
• Specialist with a minimum 5 years of experience in various projects in Engineering
• Strong experience in rail operation (maintenance, driver, Control Center, Signaling), train functions and/or Human Factor
• Working in a complex international environment
• Relevant experience in Vehicle Operational and Maintenance Regimes, Vehicle Maintenance Schedule, Functional FMEA, HAZARD LOG Familiarization, Product Liability, Requirements Management Process, Failure Modes and Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Fluent in English language (other languages are an advantage)
