TXM Recruit are supporting a UK wide FMCG production company as they are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their team. A group business, this site is focussed on supplying some of the businesses key retail customers.
This role is working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights rotating shift – 2D/2N/4 off.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responding to breakdowns and undertaking fault-finding activities.
- Undertaking planned, preventative maintenance tasks.
- Project work – continuous improvements and installations.
- Working across multiple production lines on the likes of – conveyors, tray sealers, check weighers, metal detectors, slicers.
- Worked within the food or FMCG industry previously – drinks, dairy, packaging, pharmaceuticals.
- Recognised engineering qualifications.
- Electrical testing experience.
- Worked on 3-phase electrics previously.
- Undertaken fault finding on inverters.
- Experienced working on production and packaging machinery such as slicers, blenders, tray sealers.
