TXM are currently working in partnership with an F1 Team who are looking for Model Makers to join their team in the model shop while they are investing and upgrading in their Aerodynamics department.
Working within the Aerodynamics department, the individual will work in the model shop as part of a highly professional and ambitious team. Manufacturing and testing high quality 60% model scale parts to test in our clients industry leading Wind Tunnel.
Length of contract: 4 months - 6 months flexible.
Start date: start of July.
End date: November – TBC
Shifts: flexible but ideally the following:
- Late shifts (12pm start) Monday – Friday- 4 on 4 off, ideally Friday – Monday
For the weekends, they are happy with 4 on 4 off which is 6am – 5:30pm
Rates: £30-£35 UMB DOE - PAYE rates are available upon request
Core skills that would be required for this role include:
- Strong knowledge of standard IT packages (Microsoft etc.)
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to take initiative and respond quickly and effectively to problems
- Flexible approach to working hours at busier times of the year in the car programme
- Strong attention to detail
- Competent under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members well
- Appreciation of confidentiality
