TXM Recruit are partnering with an innovative consultancy who provide a comprehensive range of solutions to the automotive industry; from product conception through to manufacture, based in Milton Keynes. There are numerous design vacancies focusing on the creation of new powertrain systems and products on behalf of the world's largest automotive manufacturers. 

The successful mechanical design engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical components and systems using CATIA v5, Validating design solutions using first principles and hand calculations.

Other responsibilities will include creating design specifications and DFMEA documentation, holding reviews and interpreting and analysing simulation results and data. 

Suitable candidates will be degree qualified and have recent mechanical design experience of complex mechanical components and systems from the aerospace, automotive, motorsport or similar precision industries with experience in FEA.
