We have a new permanent opportunity as a Materials Handler based in Leeds to work for a key engineering client of ours, working in a vehicle maintenance facility. This role would be a great step up for someone looking for more responsibilities within the store / warehouse environment

As a Materials Handler you will be on day shifts and on a salary of £24,047 which increases to £25,500 upon completion of a probation period

Roles of a Materials Handler include:

· chasing up suppliers on repairs

· checking repairable items and involved in raising PO’s

· heavy lifting with items around the depot/warehouse

· Using the onsite computer system (AMS)

· eProcurement of materials

· managing material requests from other depots

Our client are looking to interview succesful candidates between the 12th and 14th of april 2022. They are looking for someone from an industrial / manufacturing / repairs background who is well organised, proactive and able to manage requests and chase suppliers in a timely manner.

Previous experience of an MRP or AMS system would make a candidate stand out
