Tewkesbury- 30% travel required (UK and Europe)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a global designer and manufacturer of products for the aerospace industry. The client is known for their culture; they invest in people and have an excellent reputation within the aerospace manufacturing market.

As part of the role you will support the manufacturing of simple, medium and complex machined parts and sub-assemblies at the supplier’s facilities, you will be data driven, structured and rigorous when problem solving and you will assure suppliers manufacturing processes are stable and capable of producing conforming products.

In this role you will collaborate with suppliers to ensure performance is the key focus, you will assist suppliers in developing manufacturing processes including special processes. You will have a strong understanding of engineering diagrams and tolerances’ and have an aerospace and/or automotive background.

You will be an excellent decision maker, have fantastic communication skills and have knowledge and experience of aerospace and/or automotive processes. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have at least 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment as well as a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
