Manufacturing Engineer

6 months rolling contract

£40.00 LTD Per hour

A great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their existing team within a well-known Aerospace company. 

Ideally looking for someone who has previous experience within the aerospace industry. Looking for a manufacturing engineer who has knowledge of Partmaker/featurecam, CAD/CAM software and star sliding head machining. You will be supporting the fabrication of complex machined parts and sub-assemblies by providing timely and accurate CNC programs and work instructions from 3D models; focusing on sliding head machine. 

Key Skills; 

- Sliding head/ Star sliding head 

- Aerospace industry knowledge

- DFM and DFSS 

- Proven experience in CNC programming using 3D CAD/CAM (NX or Vericut), preferably using partmaker/feature cam.
