Maintenance Engineer - Waste to Energy & Recycling

About: We invite you to be part of one of the UK's leading waste-to-energy and recycling companies. Following substantial investment into one of their flagship sites, they are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their accomplished and high-performing team in Stotfold.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Site Manager in implementing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, enhancing equipment availability and performance through planned, safe, and cost-effective overhauls.
  • Stripping down, overhauling, troubleshooting, and refitting pumps, valves, hydraulic biased systems, and components.
  • Actively contribute to process improvement, best practice Safe Systems of Work, Operating & Maintenance instructions.
  • Foster a positive safety culture, ensuring operational compliance with industry regulations and site permits.
Ideal Candidate Profile: We are seeking candidates with previous experience in maintaining pumps, valves, pipe work, and boiler systems, ideally from transferable industries such as food, dairy, wastewater, or sewage treatment.
