FMCG and Agriculture
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing company who specialise in a next-generation solution for agriculture and the FMCG industry.
The company's solution and technology provides the industry with a highly efficient and cost saving automated process that also has great outcomes for increased produce and enhanced sustainability.
The position will act as the engineering lead for the site and will have full responsibility for: planned maintenance / PPM; managing contractors; stores, breakdown response and project management - for new installations and continuous improvements. There will be opportunities to lead the way in implementing condition based monitoring for the site.
We anticipate that this position will be a combination of 50/50 desk/hands on.
Key Equipment that you will be maintaining and optimising will be: ASRS; lifting equipment; one processing line; HVAC; cold store; vaccum chiller; and reverse osmosis equip (contractor covers).
This is the lead site for the company, with the business in the process of designing and commissioning new sites- this plant and your role will be the place for testing new concepts and trials.
Qualifications and experience:
- A level 3 engineering qualification: NVQ, BTEC or C&G
- Ideally electrically qualified and biased
- A Background in temperature controlled warehousing, facilities, distribution centres or intralogistcis is an excellent fit and broader FMCG is also considered.
Salary and benefits:
- £40,000+
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Pension starting at 3% +5%, then increasing to 8%
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm
