£35,000 + allowance + bonus
We are partnering with a UK Market Leader in Food Waste recycling to produce Energy, who are searching for a Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.
This is a great time to join the business at a time of investment and expansion of sites and the maintenance engineer and your team will be crucial in keeping the facilities running at full capacity.
As Maintenance Engineer you will hope co-ordinate and perform key maintenance (planned preventative and breakdowns) and ensure on the use of cost-effective resources.
The Maintenance Engineer will lead the Planned Preventative Maintenance System, managing planned down time of key equipment for planned, safe and cost-effective overhaul.
You will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure sufficient spares are available without excessive cost to the business.
We are looking for the Maintenance Engineer to have experience in both planned maintenance and breakdowns / repairs and to have experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
In particular, the ideal Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience in maintaining equipment and components such as valves, pumps.
Backgrounds in food waste, breweries, food production would be a good match.
- Proven Engineering ability & experience required – mechanical and/or control & electrical skills
- Qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar
- Or qualified by experience in engineering
Salary and Package:
- £35,000 salary
- £1,200 allowance
- Benefits package
- Monday to Friday
- 25 days holiday
- 4 x life assurance
