An excellent opportunity to join a newly restructured innovation department within an international and popular consumer goods brand.
You will be joining as the Industrial Design Lead to work at the forefront of industry and consumer demand to identify new opportunities for improved products and designs that will enhance the user / consumer experience of the brand.
You will be the lead for aesthetics and user experience, developing user-centric solutions.
As Industrial Design 'Lead' will be improving and adding to, an already broad portfolio of physical and digital products, working with robotics and software interfaces.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Proactively growing the future portfolio.
- Taking concepts through high volume production / large batch sizes
- Building studio capability fron infancy
- Indentifying new technologies, equipment and resources
- Building team capability
Your experience and qualifications:
- A degree in industrial design or product design
- Proven experience in developing products from concept to realisation, through to mass production
- Product experience knowledge- UX, UI, CMF
- 2D design software
- Strong communciation skills; bringing your concepts to life
- Stakeholder engagement and presentations
Idealy experienced in consumer goods or consumer electronics.
Previous design consultancy or design-house experience desirable.
