If you are in HR this is an ideal opportunity to get into the rail industry working for a rapidly expanding Rail company based in Stoke on Trent. They are currently seeking a HR Advisor on a permanent basis as the company continues to expand and grow within the industry.

As a HR Advisor you will work Monday to Friday day shifts, salary up to £40000 dependant on experience and once up to speed one day a week WFH.

As a HR Advisor the role is responsible for advising management on all aspects of HR, recruitment, employment legislation, training and development whilst supporting the HR Manager and administering a range of HR processes in the UK and continental Europe.
                                                                            
As a HR Advisor your role will include various tasks such as:
  • Being the initial point of contact for all HR related queries
  • Provide quality HR advice and guidance on employment issues from recruitment to exit.
  • Address all employee relation matters – probations, misconduct, absences, performance, grievances in a proactive & timely manner#
  • Coordinate the recruitment activity, ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment process is applied in line with legal and Company guidelines: monitor recruitment needs, seek authorisation for vacancies, CV search, filter, and shortlist applications, liaise with recruitment agencies, advise on interview questions, support with candidate selection including sitting on interview panels.
  • Create and post compelling job adverts on the company’s website and recruitment portals.
  • Update and maintain an effective HR database system as well as relevant trackers.
  • Prepare various HR reports, KPI’s and other statistics as required.

Competencies Required
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced business environment
  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of UK employment law
  • Recruitment experience including CV searching.
  • Track record of coaching managers on employee relation matters
  • IT literate - Microsoft office skills & able user of HR databases
