TXM Recruit are working with a business to recruit a Heavy Maintenance Support Engineer on a 2-year FTC, In this role you will work with the Fleet Engineers & Contract Managers to answer technical queries raised on the Heavy Maintenance programmes. This may also include working with the Field Engineers on site to gather the required information regarding the problem at hand. Raising of Engineering Changes to document any specification and/or design changes to the asset that need to be recorded.

The candidate will be required to have proven experience in the following:
  • Passenger rail vehicle experience
  • Engineering appreciation
  • Technical queries, concessions, and Variation Order appreciation
  • Depot/facility working background
  • Stakeholder management
  • Previous Heavy Maintenance experience
  • Previous experience with ex-BR era stock
  • Previous corrosion repair work
