TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor on a permanent basis for an established Rail company in Crewe. 

Role Summary: 
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager and primarily based at the Crewe site, you will provide Health, Safety and Environmental support and advice to the site.

 
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HS&E advice and support services to the onsite teams,
  • Monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health, Safety and the Environment are well administrated.
  • Working with the HSEF Manager to implement and maintain all safe health, safety and environmental systems are up to date, ensuring that the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, environment and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
  • Manage and monitor all filing of Health, Safety, Environmental and Facilities documents and regularly review to ensure sites are storing documents suitably,
  • Work closely with HR to ensure H&S training records and certification is up to date,
  • Work with operations team to ensure risk assessments, method statements and SOP’s are updated in a timely fashion,
  • Taking HSEF minutes for distribution,
  • Working with all departments on evidence gathering for external accreditations such as 45001, 14001 & RISQS etc,
  • Reporting to the site management team on HSEF KPI's,
  • Liaise with HR department on occupational health matters
 
Essential Criteria:
  • NEBOSH certificate
  • Working towards minimum TECH IOSH status
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing and new product development environment.
  • Driving licence

Desirable Criteria:
  • IEMA Certificate
