TXM Recruit is recruiting for a Head of Procurement working for a business within the transportation sector based in Doncaster. A great opportunity to work with a passionate and reputable business that support a number of OEM’s and train operators as well as infrastructure sub-contractors.
Head of Procurement Job Description:
· Responsible for setting strategy within the products procurement team to meet overall business objectives.
· Defining best practice standards / processes to improve and maintain function delivery.
· Strategic thinking who can think technically as well as operationally to ensure deliverables are executed.
· The role requires someone who has operated at a Senior level who is able to communicate with those at MD level but who is also comfortable of operating within the procurement activities.
· Will have a strong, credible and authentic character and have a proven capability to lead and manage change effectively.
