Are you an experienced Gas Engineer?
Are you looking for a new challenge and new role?

TXM Recruit are working in partnership with an award-winning organisation looking for a Gas Engineer with experience to work with our client based in Manchester. The role is a contract position paying up to £27 per hour. Immediate start required!!

Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out servicing of gas appliances including boilers, fires and cookers in a timely and safe manor.
  • To carry out general breakdowns and can achieve 1st time fix.  
  • Be part of an on-call Rota to cover OOH breakdowns as required.
  • Responsible for the technical performance and maintaining ENGIE and industry standards.
  • Providing guidance to others on site and technical expertise in gas systems and building fabric components to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
  • The technician will have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area – preferably mechanical and electrical.
Qualification or Required Experience:
  • Domestic Gas ACS Elements CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, CMDDA1
  • Unvented hot water Elements U/VHW Water Regulations 1999 Code WR1.
  • City and Guilds Craft Certificate and Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing and Heating
